Yuvan Shankar Raja

Yuvan Shankar Raja is a multifaceted composer and singer-songwriter, primarily known for his work in Tamil cinema, with a notable presence in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi films as well. His musical journey began at the age of 16, in 1996, and gained momentum with the release of the Thulluvadho Ilamai soundtrack in 2002. By the mid-2000s, he had solidified his position as a leading composer in the Tamil film industry. Yuvan's singing career dates back to 1988, when he was just eight years old, lending his voice to a song in the film En Bommukutty Ammavukku. He later sang the theme song for the World Classical Tamil Conference 2010, composed by A. R. Rahman. In 2009, Yuvan made his live performance debut at Toronto's Rogers Centre, followed by numerous performances at esteemed events, including the inaugural Kuala Lumpur International Indian Music Festival in 2012.
