Varun Jain began his musical journey by sharing cover songs online before landing playback opportunities in major Bollywood films. During the pandemic, he returned to his hometown Aligarh and focused on growing his digital presence, where his Instagram covers gained massive traction. This exposure led to collaborations with artists like Rekha Bhardwaj and features on acclaimed shows such as TVF's Cubicles. His breakthrough came with the soulful track Tere Vaaste from Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, earning him the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best Playback Singer (Male) at the International Film Festival Awards 2024. Varun has since delivered hits like Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum from Stree 2, Tum Se from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and Chot Dil Pe Lagi from Ishq Vishk Rebound alongside Asees Kaur.
