Strings, a legendary Pakistani rock band, has been making waves in the music industry since 1988. Their iconic soundtrack, "Aakhri Alvida," for the film Shootout At Lokhandwala, not only showcased their musical prowess but also catapulted them to international fame. The release of their fifth studio album, "Koi Aanay Wala Hai," marked a significant milestone in Strings' career. Co-produced by John Abraham, this album topped the charts in Pakistan and India, featuring soundtracks from films like Shootout At Lokhandwala and Zinda. This achievement solidified their position as a leading force in the Pakistani music scene. Strings have entertained crowds at numerous live performances, including shows with Indian Ocean in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. Their popularity soon caught the attention of Levi's Pakistan, who appointed them as brand ambassadors. The band's fan base extended beyond Pakistan's borders, with a significant following in Nepal. This international recognition earned them the title of Asia's favourite band at the MTV Asia Awards. A remarkable feat in Strings' history was their performance at the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhavan, making them the first Pakistani band to achieve this milestone. Their impressive list of accolades includes Best Band at the MTV Music Awards 2009 and Best Album at the same ceremony. Additionally, they were named MTV Asia's most favourite band in 2005, cementing their position as a beloved and respected band in the region.
