Sonu Kakkar

Born in Rishikesh, Sonu Kakkar's musical journey began at a young age. As the elder sister of renowned singer Neha Kakkar, Sonu was exposed to the world of music from an early start. When her family relocated to Delhi, she started performing at jagrans at just five years old, laying the foundation for her future career. A pivotal moment in her life came when she moved to Mumbai, where she caught the attention of composer Sandeep Chowta during a singing competition on Channel V's Indian Pop Star. This led to her breakthrough with the song 'Babuji zara dheere chalo'. Sonu Kakkar has since lent her voice to several notable tracks, including the popular 'London Thumakda' from the film 'Queen'. Her recent discography includes releases such as 'Mera Dil Bhi kitna Pagal Hai', 'Electro Folk: Chamba', and 'Kalank', showcasing her continued growth and versatility as a playback singer in Bollywood.
