Sid Sriram

Sidharth Sriram is a versatile Indian musician with a strong foundation in Carnatic music. His expertise spans multiple genres, including R&B songwriting, music production, and playback singing. With a career that transcends linguistic boundaries, Sriram has made significant contributions to the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, and English music scenes. Sriram's musical journey began at the tender age of three, when he started learning Carnatic music. His professional singing debut came with the Tamil and Telugu film 'Kadali'. In addition to his work in the film industry, Sriram has explored independent music, releasing his debut LP 'Entropy' in 2019. This project was inspired by a song of the same name, which he had published in 2012. In 2021, Sriram collaborated with producer Ryan Olson on a self-titled, all-English album. This project blends the traditional sounds of Carnatic music with modern influences from R&B and indie rock. The album, which was released on August 25, 2023, features a range of singles, including 'Dear Sahana', 'The Hard Way', and 'Friendly Fire'. Through his unique sound, Sriram continues to push the boundaries of Indian music, incorporating diverse styles and genres into his work.
