Born on May 2, 1974, in Vayor, Kutch, Gujarat, India, Osman Mir has established himself as a versatile Indian playback singer. His musical journey began with the release of the song Mor Bani Thanghat Kare in the 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela. This marked the starting point of his successful career, which has since spanned multiple genres and languages, including Hindi and Gujarati films. Osman's early introduction to music was as a tabla player, and he later transitioned to singing, making his debut performance in Ahmedabad. His repertoire encompasses a wide range of styles, from Bhajan and Ghazal to Semi-Classical and Sugam, as well as traditional Gujarati folk music. He has also lent his voice to numerous Gujarati films, totaling 58 movie soundtracks. With thousands of public performances under his belt, Osman has had the opportunity to showcase his talent globally, performing in 25 countries worldwide. His formal training in music began under the guidance of his father, followed by official mentorship from Ismalbhai Datar. Osman's Bollywood debut was marked by his rendition of the Gujarati folk song Mor Bani Thanghat Kare in the film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. He continues to entertain audiences with his live concerts, accompanied by his band, in various cities across India and around the globe.
