Born on March 20, 1987, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Haricharan has established himself as a versatile Indian vocalist, effortlessly navigating the realms of Carnatic music, playback singing, and instrumental performance. His linguistic versatility spans Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu, showcasing his remarkable musical range. Haricharan's musical journey began under the guidance of esteemed instrumentalists, including Smt. Sethu Mahadevan, K. V. Narayanaswamy, T. M. Prabhavathi, and P. S. Narayanaswamy, who helped shape his Carnatic music foundation. His professional career took off with his debut Tamil film song in the movie Kaadhal, followed by three more songs in the same film.
