Gaurav Iyer

Gaurav Iyer has established himself as a notable figure in the realm of Carnatic and Indian Classical music, earning a spot among the prominent Indian artists of his generation. Hailing from a musically inclined family, Gaurav's introduction to music was largely influenced by his mother, who encouraged him to take up Carnatic music lessons in Kerala at the age of six. This early exposure sparked a passion that would eventually drive his career. As he honed his craft through dedicated training and experience, Gaurav began to produce and create remarkable music. His debut single, 'Paapi Kal Ka', created in collaboration with Apernit Singh, garnered recognition from esteemed artists. Gaurav's subsequent collaborations with renowned performers such as Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, and Kailash Kher further solidified his position in the industry. He received the Best Singer award from Kailash Kher, a testament to his talent. Additionally, Gaurav was a contestant on Indian Idol Season 6, where he secured a spot among the top 50. He has also had the opportunity to perform live with the acclaimed music director duo Vishal-Shekar at the NSCA in Mumbai.
