Amitabh Bhattacharya

Amitabh Bhattacharya, a prominent figure in the Indian music scene, was born in 1971 in Lucknow. With a career spanning over a decade, he has established himself as a talented lyricist and playback singer, contributing to the new wave of Bollywood music. Bhattacharya's journey in film music began in 2008, and he continues to make his mark as a leading music artist. His rise to fame came with the song Emotional Atyachar from the film Dev D, which showcased his skill as a lyricist. Since then, he has penned lyrics for numerous Hindi movies, also lending his voice to some of the tracks. Some of his notable works include Channa Mereya, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Bulleya, Kabira, Balam Pichkari, and Gerua, among others. He won the National Award for the song Agar Zindagi from the movie I Am, and a Filmfare award for Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin.
